My Strategy & Beliefs
My Strategy is very simple. I basically watch what I eat, but eat what I want to & still maintain a healthy balance, watching carbs, calories & fat content.
I also think positive & have it set in my brain that I am going to be healthy, strong & thin with nothing standing in my way of my goal! I DO NOT TAKE ANY DRUGS, SUPPLEMENTS OR ANY OF THOSE "SO CALLED WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMS"!!! I don't beleive in them, because if you do not stick to to them or do exactly what they tell you for the rest of your life or listen what these so called weight loss Gurus tell you, you will gain the weight back & then some!! I am not going to do that! Been there done that!! Those who have had surgery to make their stomachs smaller so they would eat less have even failed, because they wind up eating more than they are supposed to.
This is how I have lost my weight is: I try to get to the gym at least 3-4 times a week & do my weights, cardio & machines. When I don't go to the gym I get out & walk with my dog. When I am working I am constantly moving. My body keeps changing in result of losing the weight.
I am losing weight & body fat, but gaining muscle & muscle weighs more than fat.
I am just careful on how much I eat per day & how it will affect me. I don't eat after 8pm. If I do it's an apple, a light snack or a cup of no sugar or low fat hot cocoa , hot tea or a small glass of lite silk or skim milk with honey & cinnamon to help me fall asleep.
You have to want to eat right, exercise & be healthy & only you can make up your mind to do it!! NO ONE IS GOING TO DO IT FOR YOU!!! It's your life & your health, so " SO THINK HEALTHY FOR LIFE"!
